Privacy policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
We collect as little as we need to run the shop and send you the emails you ask for. We don’t sell your information or use advertising trackers.
Who is responsible
O’Connor Watches LLC, 7 Longfellow Rd, Natick, MA 01760, USA, is responsible for your information. For any privacy question or request, email oconnorwatches@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, your password (stored only in scrambled form by our account provider, so we can’t read it) and the email choices you make, with a record of when you changed them.
- Reservations and orders: your name, email, shipping address, phone number, the dial you chose and what you paid. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- Newsletter: if you sign up with just your email, we keep your address, when you confirmed it and the dial you were looking at.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
- Technical information: our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To run your account and send the emails you’ve chosen. Newsletters are only sent after you confirm your address or tick them in your account, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
- To take reservations and orders, deliver your watch, give refunds and handle warranty claims.
- To keep records we’re required to keep, such as tax and accounting records.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
If you’re in the UK or the European Economic Area, the legal bases are your consent (marketing emails), our contract with you (accounts, reservations and orders), legal obligations (records) and our legitimate interests (security).
Where it’s stored
We work from Japan and our providers are mainly in the United States, so your information may be stored or handled in countries other than your own. Our providers protect it with contracts and security measures that meet the standards of the laws that apply to them.
How long we keep it
- Account information: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Email-choice records: as long as needed to show we respected your choices.
- Order and payment records: seven years, for tax and accounting.
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to deal with them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, download it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw consent for emails at any time. Email us and we’ll reply within 30 days.
If you’re in the UK or EEA, you can also object to how we use your information and complain to your data protection authority. If you’re in Japan, you have the rights the Act on the Protection of Personal Information gives you. We don’t sell personal information.
Cookies and browser storage
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. When you sign in, your browser keeps your session for that tab only, so you stay signed in while you browse; it’s cleared when you close the tab.
Children
This site isn’t aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and, for significant changes, email account holders.
